# Electricians: Join the CleanVolts Installer Network
CleanVolts designs, quotes and manages home solar installations and repairs across northern Johannesburg. We don't do the electrical work ourselves. Registered electrical contractors do, and they issue the Certificate of Compliance under their own registration.
If you are a registered contractor who does solar properly, we would like to hear from you. You get well-scoped jobs where the site has been assessed, the system designed and the client briefed before you arrive.

## What You Get
### Well-scoped jobs
The site is assessed, the system designed and the client briefed before you're called in. You arrive knowing what the job is.
### Your own client contract
You quote the components and the electrical work directly to the client, and your name is on the Certificate of Compliance.
### We handle the rest
Client contact, scheduling, the system design and specification, and the SSEG paperwork, so you can focus on the installation.
### Work close to home
Jobs across the northern Johannesburg suburbs, so less time on the road.
## Who We're Looking For
- A registered electrical contractor, with a registration category that covers the work
- A registered person on your team who can sign the Certificate of Compliance for the installation
- A current letter of good standing with the Compensation Fund
- Public liability cover
- Solar PV experience, and a habit of labelling, earthing and documenting the job properly
- Able to work across northern Johannesburg: Blairgowrie, Linden, Randburg, Ferndale, Northcliff, Fairland, Emmarentia, Greenside, Parkhurst and the suburbs around them
## How We Vet Contractors
1. **Send your documents.** Email or WhatsApp the paperwork listed under How to Apply.
2. **We check your credentials.** Your registration and category, your wireman's licence, your letter of good standing with the Compensation Fund, and your public liability cover.
3. **We speak to two of your clients** and keep copies of your documents on file.
4. **We meet and see your work**, ideally on a recent installation.
5. **We sign an agreement** and, with your permission, introduce you by name on our [Electrical Partners](https://cleanvolts.co.za/electrical-partners?hsLang=za) page.
## How the Work Is Split
**CleanVolts** assesses the home, designs and specifies the system by make and model, prepares the quote, coordinates the job, prepares the SSEG application and stays the client's point of contact from the first visit to the follow-up. We never buy or sell components.
**You** supply the components, do the electrical work and issue the Certificate of Compliance under your own registration. The client contracts you directly for the components and the electrical work, so your registration, warranty and insurance stand behind it. Quote the components line by line: before the client signs, we check component prices against distributor pricing, which is part of how we keep the client's trust in both of us.
**The client** gets two agreements and one job that runs smoothly, because we manage it end to end.
