# How the CleanVolts partner network works for electricians

**Short answer:** CleanVolts finds and qualifies solar clients and matches each one with a CleanVolts Approved partner. The registered contractor contracts with the client, designs, quotes, installs and signs the Certificate of Compliance under their own registration. CleanVolts coordinates and stays the client's point of contact. Partners pay a referral fee only on jobs that go ahead, disclosed to the client.

## **How do electricians join the CleanVolts partner network?**

1. **Apply** through the join-our-network page with your company and registration details.
2. **Vetting:** we check your registration, Compensation Fund letter of good standing, public liability cover and examples of recent work.
3. **Agreement:** we sign a partner agreement covering how leads are handed over, service standards and the referral fee.
4. **Profile:** approved partners can get their own page on cleanvolts.co.za, with their permission.

## **Who does what?**

| Marketing, guides and lead generation | Site assessment, design and written quote |
| Qualifying the client: property, bills, goals, buy or rent | Contract with the client |
| Matching the client to the right partner | Supply and installation |
| Client liaison and project coordination | Certificate of Compliance and SSEG registration |
| Follow-up after the job | Workmanship warranty and after-sales support |

## **Who contracts with the client?**

You do. The client signs with the registered contractor who does the work and issues the CoC. CleanVolts is not the electrical contractor and never takes payment for the installation. ## **How are jobs allocated?**

By area, job type and availability. A homeowner in Centurion goes to a partner who covers Centurion; a warehouse goes to a partner who does commercial work. We send you the qualified lead with the details we've collected, usually by WhatsApp to start, and record it so nothing falls through the cracks. You confirm whether you can take it.

## **What does CleanVolts Approved require?**

- **Registration** that allows you to issue a Certificate of Compliance. See [how to check a solar installer is registered](https://cleanvolts.co.za/guides/check-solar-installer-registered).
- **A Compensation Fund letter of good standing** and **public liability cover**.
- **Recent work we can see,** and willingness to name every component by make and model on quotes.
- **Keeping standards up.** We ask every client how the job went. A lapsed registration, an unresolved complaint or work below standard, and referrals stop.
