# Your Checklist Is Ready

It takes about ten minutes. You need no tools and no technical knowledge, just an honest answer about what you can and cannot confirm.

### Getting the most out of it
1. **Print it, or open it on your phone next to the inverter.** Some points are easier to answer when you can see the equipment and the DB board.
2. **Find your paperwork first.** The Certificate of Compliance, the installer's invoice and any SSEG letter from City Power answer several points in one go.
3. **Tick only what you can confirm.** A blank is not a failure. It is a specific question worth answering.
### If you noticed a burning smell, heat or buzzing
Do not wait to finish the checklist. If you can reach it safely, switch the system off at the inverter and isolator, and call a registered electrician today. If there is smoke or fire, get everyone out and call 112, and tell them there is a solar system and battery on the property.
### Left some points blank?
Most people do. The systems put in during the 2022–23 load-shedding rush were often installed fast, and nobody has looked at them since.
A **Solar Health Check** answers the blanks in one two-hour visit. We inspect the panels, inverter, battery, isolators and DB board with every cover left on, look at your system's own data and go through your paperwork. Within three working days you get a written report of up to six pages, with photographs and every finding ranked Immediate, Important or Advisory, and a call to walk you through it.
